About game
POR(n)TALS is my first attempt at creating a video game, and I'm very happy to share it with you. For now, it's just version 0.3, so it's still in early development, but there's much more to come, and I have a clear idea of how to move the story forward. Despite being early version, there is already some content, and - depending on how quickly you read - it shold be enough for about 8-10 hours.
I'm super excited about the release and can't wait for you to try it. When you do, please let me know what you think in the comments or in Discord server!

Story
You are alone. You were always alone. You lived with your parents but they were never really there - never truly a part of your life. When they went missing, you hardly felt anything.
Fortunately, you were taken in by a friend of your parents and moved into his house, where you now live with him and his two daughters. That's how you got a fresh start. New city, new home, new school, new people, new possibilities and new... worlds?
With appearing of the first portal, everything changed.
Where do they lead? Why did this happen to you? What is their origin?
Experience many adventures together with your friends, strengthen your bonds and uncover the secrets hiding behind portals.
And what will you do with it? That's up you!

I really enjoyed this one. So when is the next update? I like the story between the main character and the harem especially the mom
Judging by the approximately 6 month intervals between previous updates we should be close-ish to a new one. OneHend is a good dev, he helped me out with some technical questions on my own game.
0.4 is gonna take a bit longer because it's bigger than the previous updates. There's no release date yet, though.
It's a good story, keep it up with a good work
I had a much longer post that I removed since honestly it didn't sit well with me to share that much. In short, the VN was fine until the absolutely disrespectful use of SA. The VN is carried as an aloof carefree story, with the trauma being treated as a speedbump in life that you brush your hands from after a few days and shrug off. It doesn't work like that; and that's speaking from a far less traumatic, yet real perspective. If nothing else put a warning up, as I can't fathom someone stumbling on this as a carefree story, only to be hit with that when their experience hits much closer to home.
Is their an updated walkthrough or is this the official one?
Great and funny game, I would compare and rank this as something between Eternum and Realm Invader for the content so far imo, so if you like those games you will like this as well. Comparable focus on humour and similar render quality, especially in 0.2 and 0.3, which is high praise indeed! Dev clearly is a massive talent, keep it up OneHend!
Oh, and as an aspiring HS2 avn dev myself, how do you make such good looking westernized characters? Especially the males like MC really looks more western than I have ever seen from HS2, but some of the women too, especially Alice. Tips? Maybe you would be willing to share a male character card so I can see in HS2 card creator how you do it? If so let me know, I'll join your discord, nick RenegadeZero
This is a masterpiece. The Rose scenes are exquisite, it's a shame she's not a main love interest, but Vanessa more than makes up for it! Honestly, absolutely loved the game so far!

Hey Dev, I was playing your new update... And found something that needs fixing.... The sound or music is very low.... I can't hear it properly even with my volume full (without headphones).
And I have a question too.... Is female domination fixed for Vanessa. Or the mc can sometimes dominate her too?? Though if you are planning for female domination then please make it optional.

- First, can you add option if I input name in all caps, its seen/read that way. I go by nickname and would like my name seen that way, please.
- Second, a question. Will there be any lesbian interactions during group sex, I hope so and would love a bit, optional, if not can you consider that, undertand if not, but still a bit hopeful, for just a bit

2. For now, I don't plan to include any lesbian content. However I can't say for sure that it won't happen in the future. If it does, it will definitely be optional.

There are 6 scenes in total
There are scenes where MC is involved in sexual acts, but I don't think there's actual sex with penetration just yet.

If you want, yes. But you can also end up without any girl, or just with some of them.
One of the best games i've played! I was laughing the whole time! Really recommend this game!

I get more and more the feeling that this game somehow includes part from those two games eternum and the other one now that I saw a certain guy, or the models are just similar.

Why i she always red under the eyes? Sometimes I can't tell if they are blushing unless they do it much stronger.
It's just how her model looks. I actually think its a bit too strong in some scenes, so I'm going to tone it down a bit in 0.4
The game might be louder sometimes, usually i don't have to puh it all to the max with my configurations and heardphones sound better currently to me.
Hey I sometimes can try to hard so it would be good to know if I can even reach max friendship with many of the girls, I think I finally undertand the system when I invite them to do something.

Really love the game so far, def one of better ones I've played. Top 10 material at the very least (if not better). But I'm super bummed with how .3 ended, it was getting so freaking good and then it ends right there! I almost tossed my phone across my room lol.
Looking forward to future updates though, good job so far!
DUDE this shit is awesome. This game is comparable to like Eternum by Caribdis (GOAT btw). My only gripe is that eventually I will have to pick and choose...other than that, though this game is amazing. I haven't read through many other VN's that were this captivating. And I was hooked BEFORE the MC unlocked his portal powers. really good stuff

This is a great game! Just heard of it when browsing a few days ago. Jusr finished and thought, hopefully the next update is out soon! Then I see this update just dropped 5 days ago 😂. Guess ill have to wait. And thats ok! Great job at a great game OneHend!

Hey hey! I stumbled upon your game by chance and decided to give it a try since I also work with Honey Select 2 for the visuals in my projects, and I’m really glad I did! The story is great, the characters are engaging, and the touches of humor are very enjoyable. Keep it up!
PS: I agree with some of the other comments, you should consider adding more hosting options or uploading directly to Itch.io, because Mega has been buggy with some browsers lately if you’re not using their client, especially with large files like these. Google Drive also tends to impose somewhat random download limits

can you use somethign other than mega....? i might try it if you didn't have only 22 patreons... even if you have to limit a demo... give us a taste. mega is awful. hell itch would probably let you carry your demo/game/into on here. i've downloaded games this size directly from itch...
the fact that i spent time to ask for it; compliments what i've seen of the game. and i want to play it. i'm just not jumping in blindly.
